Important Guidelines for Installation, Handling & Storage

(1) The entire structure or the portion thereof to be sheeted has to be correctly aligned and uniformly leveled.

1. THIS IS FOR 3 LAYER QUALITY.

2 MM Thickness = 2.50 Feet Purlin Distances.

2.5 MM Thickness = 2.75 Feet Purlin Distances.

3 MM Thickness = 3.00 Feet Purlin Distances.

3.5 MM Thickness = 3.25 Feet Purlin Distances.

4 MM Thickness = 3.50 Feet Purlin Distances.

2. THIS IS FOR 4 LAYER QUALITY

2.5 MM Thickness = 3.25 Feet Purlin Distances.

3 MM Thickness = 3.50 Feet Purlin Distances.

3.5 MM Thickness = 3.75 Feet Purlin Distances.

4 MM Thickness = 4.00 Feet Purlin Distances.

(3) Cover length of fore and aft tiles: 300 mm.

(4) Cover length of Right and left tiles: 80 mm.

(5) Minimum 5 screws are required for 1 sq.mtr tile but at a height more than 30 feet screws are required as per wind speed.

(6)It is important not to over tighten the screw putting undue pressure onto the sheets.

(7)Purlin must be at the correct centers and size for the material and

slope of the roof the positions of Purlin at The upper and lower ends of the roofs and at the sheet overlaps are the critical points.

(8) Fix the bottom Purlin first.

(9) Do not overhang the fascia by more than 25mm. If done so, the wind will tends to catch this area and will damage the roof.

(10)It is generally best (although more awkward) to drill sheets perpendicular so that holes line up with the Purlin and holes in overlapping sheets line up.

(11) Start fixing sheets at the opposite end of the roof from prevailing winds.

(12)Drill over a firm support using light pressure with a hand drill or slow speed power drill fitted with a suitable drill bit.

(13) Use “ARSPL” sheets fixer set caps to eliminate the water leaking problems and also screw rusting Problems. It will also prevent sheet riding upon the thread.

(14) Purlin and Truss panels should have recommended weight and design.

(15)The self-tapping screw size that is recommended as per sheets thickness are 55mm,68mm,75mm with Zylon Coated.

(16)The sheets must be stacked in flat form at sites. And not to be stacked together in sunlight.

(17) While installing the Turbo ventilators fans on the top of the roof, care should be taken should be affixed in such a way that there is no gap between them in order to avoid the problem of water leaking.

(18) Kindly let your architect confirm the consumption of steel structure, based on the wind speed of a particular area.

(19) The sheets should be installed without any stresses or deformation.
